Family Law

Facing a legal problem is stressful. If it involves a family issue it is usually worse. We represent clients in all areas of family law in Travis County, Williamson County and surrounding counties. Please call us for a free consultation. Our experienced attorneys can help you with issues such as:

Divorce – Our firm provides representation in uncontested and contested divorces. Whether you are thinking about getting a divorce, or if the process already started, we can help.

Child custody – In Texas, when there is a divorce proceeding and there are children of the marriage, the suit will include the children. There are other situations, aside from a divorce, in which a party may want to file a separate action for custody. For example, a grandparent who has been caring for a grandchild.

Child support – The suit involving children that is part of a divorce in Texas will include the child support issue. However, just like with the custody issue, a suit regarding the children may be filed independently from a divorce to ask the Court to order a parent to pay child support.

Attorney General matters – We represent obligors and obligees in child support cases before the Child Support Office of the Texas Attorney General.
What is your situation?

The Attorney General has filed an action against me or I have a warrant for my arrest.

I have asked the Attorney General to help with my child support case.

Order modifications – Maybe you have found that the orders entered in your case are not in tune with your current situation. In some instances they can be modified.

Enforcement actions – If your ex is not doing what they are obligated to do by law, it might be time to ask the Court for help.
What is your situation?

My ex is not paying or visiting the children as ordered.

I have been served with an enforcement action

Protective orders – Sometimes it is necessary to stay away from a family member when family violence has occurred.
What is your situation?
